One of the beloved companions of the Prophet (PBUH) was named Abdur Rahman. When he used to come to the Prophet (PBUH), he would bring a kitten under his cloak. Seeing this scene, the Prophet (PBUH) one day called him Abu Hurairah. Abu Hurairah means the father of a cat. We know that no human being can be the father of a cat. But seeing his love for cats, the beloved Prophet gave him this name. But Abu Hurairah liked the name so much that later he became famous as Abu Hurairah. It is worth noting that he was the narrator of the highest number of hadiths among the narrators.

Are cats harmful to us?

Many people may wonder whether cats are harmful to us? The answer is - initially, it can be said that cats are not harmful to us. The person who keeps a cat must keep an eye on the cat's movements.
