1. Definition of
Courier Service.
There are some products which are not legally punishable to book in courier. But considering personal safety and the product, the following products should not be booked in courier. Notable among them are......
# Certificate:-
Any original certificate should not be booked in courier. Despite taking extra precautions, if the document is damaged or lost in any way, then no courier can compensate the booker for the loss. At most, they can pay some financial penalty but the booker will have to bear the suffering.
# Admit Card:-
No one should book the admit card of any upcoming exam which may take place within the next four days in courier.
# Irretrievable Documents: -
Original copies of any document that cannot be recovered should not be booked with a courier. If it is lost or damaged, the booker will have to suffer.
# Original Documents: -
Original copies of any property document, whether movable or immovable, should not be booked with a courier. Although there is no legal prohibition on booking it.
# Tickets: -
Any ticket that will start within the next three days, if not received within the stipulated time, the journey will be missed, or if the ticket is lost or damaged, it is not possible to recover it, should not be booked with a courier.
# Voter ID: -
Voter ID card should not be booked with any courier. Although it can be done. But if it is lost or damaged in any way, then no courier will be able to return the card to the booker. So the booker will have to bear the trouble.
# Passport: -
Although the passport booking system is in place in all courier services in the country, it should not be booked with a courier. However, since the passport booking system is in place in courier services, anyone can take this service of this courier subject to greater security.
# Frozen Goods: -
Any type of frozen goods should not be booked with a courier. Because, not all couriers have the facilities to transport frozen goods. Due to which the ice part of the booked product melts and the product will be spoiled. Along with this, it will also cause damage to other products kept in the vehicle.
# Perishable Goods: -
Any type of perishable goods should not be booked with a courier. If the product is not delivered within the stipulated time, the product will rot and get spoiled. For this, the concerned courier service can compensate for not being able to deliver within the stipulated time. But it will not be able to deliver the booked product anymore.
# Valuable Items: -
Valuable items should not be booked with any courier. The booker should remember that the person who is taking the booking is taking the booking in exchange for money. He will arrange to send the parcel with great care. But wherever these parcels are loaded and unloaded, the people working there have not become a mountain of trust for the booker. Later, the relationship with the person with good relations in the booking office will be ruined. And if there is any regret or trouble, the booker will have to suffer.
# Glass Items: -
Any kind of glass item should not be booked by courier. It will only harm the booker. Despite being very careful, the parcel can break.
# Employment Letter: -
Suppose a person has got a job in any organization or government sector. Now the hiring organization has sent the employment letter to the candidate's email address, which has reached the candidate's home address. Now the candidate wants to get that employment letter from a distant location by courier or post. One should never ask to get this employment letter by courier or post by mistake. Rather, it is better to bring someone with one and a half to two thousand taka. It should be remembered that the job is done. Two thousand taka is not a big deal once you are hired. If it somehow gets lost in the courier or mail or does not arrive on time, the candidate will have to bear the regret and pain of losing the job.
# Time-consuming Documents: -
Must be received within two days of booking, if not received, the booker will face major losses, it is better not to book such documents with any courier. Rather, it is better to arrange to bring or send them through people. Suppose, a person has booked his document in Rangpur on 05/05/2020, the document will go to Chittagong or Sylhet, in that case, the recipient will never receive the document home delivery on 06/05/2020. Rather, the recipient can take this document for office delivery from the office of the courier branch of the concerned zone from where the home delivery service is operated.
5. How to write the address to receive it on time?
Many times it is seen that the recipient does not receive the booked product on time. However, the time allotted for delivery has passed. In that case, it is seen that there is a mistake in the recipient's address or the address is incomplete. Again, it is seen that the address is written in one way on the booked product but the receiver wants to receive it in another way. 2. Home Delivery: -
In the language of couriers, 'home delivery' means that the booked product is delivered to the relevant area according to the recipient's address, and the courier man will deliver it to the recipient's address.
